Newark Rose Committee Spring Fundraiser

Have you thought about what to get Mom for Mother's Day?

The Rose Committee has the answer. This year, the Rose Committee will be offering a variety of spring blooming plants for Mom or your garden. Newark school children will be taking orders for miniature rose bushes for $5 each. They will also be offering two mums for $5 and two New Guinea impatiens for $5.

All of these plants can be enjoyed indoors for a few weeks after Mother's Day and then planted outdoors in the garden or repotted in a container on the porch.

Watch for Newark school children taking orders for Mother's Day; or place your order with Emily at 331-2993. The plants will be available for pick up at Arcadia Reformed Church on Woodlane on Friday, May 7 from 3-7 p.m. and Saturday, May 8 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
