Seniors: business award deadline nears

Students from the Newark area are reminded that the Greater Newark Chamber of Commerce has set a deadline for accepting applications to the Chuck Craig Future Civic Business Leader Award.

Graduating seniors may inquire of their guidance Counselors or the Newark Chamber office for applications. Any senior who hopes their future lies in the business community of Newark, and expects to be involved in the civic responsibilities connected with business is invited to apply. Eligible students must reside within the Newark School District but may attend a school outside of that district.

Applications must be postmarked by Wednesday, April 14 or hand delivered to the Chamber office at 203 West Miller St., Newark.
