Lyons Church honors 50-year members

On Sunday, April 4, the First Presbyterian Church of Lyons recognized its newest 50-year members. They are: Anne Blaisdell, Joanne Lauster, Otto Buckel, Genevieve Buckel, Helene Santelli, Eleanor Atkinson and Jane Newman.

Two 70-year members were also recognized: Myron Ohmann and Ruth Boudiette.

The Rev. Cynthia Huling Hummel, pastor of the church, led the congregation in prayer and song, celebrating the occasion and thanking these members for their faithful service to the church. Following the church service, a reception was held in their honor. The event was coordinated by the Membership and Evangelism Committee.
