RadioShack opens store in Newark

Tandy Corporation/Radio Shack announced today it has opened a new RadioShack store in Newark. The store is located in the Arcadia Shopping Center, 6766 Route 31, East (next to Fashion Bug).

In addition to RadioShack private-label brands, the 2,200 square-foot store will feature the "Sprint Store-Within-a-Store" with a complete selection of Sprint-branded telephone products and services; the Compaq Creative Learning Center and Compaq Creative Learning Series computers; and, the PowerZone that includes a full-line of batteries, power components and accessories.

The store will employ approximately 4-6 full time and part-time employees. All RadioShack employees receive extensive product training enabling them to tailor solutions for the customer's electronic needs.
