Newark Garden Club will meet

On May 7, the Newark Garden Club will be meeting at 10 a.m. at the Park Presbyterian Church.

Weather permitting, ladies will visit two local gardens and return to the Park Presbyterian Church for a picnic lunch. Each member is to bring a bag lunch. Dessert and beverage will be provided by hostesses Sylvia Harding and Kay Hallagan. Shirley Turner will provide the floral arrangement.

This meeting will also mark the members' annual plant exchange. Members are to bring plants from their house or garden to exchange or sell.

Guests are welcome.
