Newark determined to get skate park
By John Zornow

About 30 young skateboard enthusiasts and seven adults met at the Alex Eligh Community Center Tuesday evening to discuss plans to contact local business and professional offices for support.

Engraved bricks will be sold to raise money for the proposed facility to be built on Frey St. The bricks will then be included in a part of the construction. The group plans other fund-raisers as part of their efforts to provide a safe place for all ages to skate.
