Bourbon Street Jazz ends Lighthouse concert season

Sunday, September 5 marks the final free concert in the Sodus Bay Historical Society's Lighthouse Concert Series. The 3 p.m. performance by the Bourbon Street Jazz Band begins at 3 p.m. on the Light House lawn, 7606 Ontario St., Sodus Point.

Bring your own seating and squeeze the last bit of fun out of summer by listening to old style jazz in this beautiful Lake Ontario bluff setting.

The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on concert Sunday. The museum continues to welcome visitors Tuesday - Sunday, through Oct. 31.

Admission to the museum is free; donations are graciously accepted. Climb to the top of the light tower, enjoy the exhibits on Lake Ontario of old, stroll the beautiful grounds, or visit the Chamberlin Nautical Library. Don't forget your camera - the Sodus Lighthouse Museum is one of the most photographed places in Wayne County.
