Luncheon review at Newark library The Friends of the Newark Public Library will hold their December luncheon meeting on Friday, December 10 at noon at the library. Kurt Werts, a teacher at Sodus High School and a member of the Newark Village Board, will be the guest speaker. He will be reviewing the book, The Lexus and the Olive Tree by Thomas Friedman, foreign affairs correspondent for the New York Times.
