Pictorial view of Wayne County on your gift list ?

Copies of the second printing of the Wayne County Historical Society publication, Remembering Wayne: A Pictorial View of the People, Places and Pastimes of Wayne County, New York, will be available for sale at the Society at 21 Butternut St., Lyons until December 12.

Then, until the Museum reopens for business on January 4, books may be purchased in Lyons at:

  • David D. Bradley, Inc., 36 Canal St.
  • Dobbins Drugs, Inc., 52 William St. and
  • Wayne County Arts Council, 2 Broad St.;
  • at all Lyons National Bank branch offices;

from the following town historians: Carol Bailey, Carol Flint, Brian Howell, and John Spellman,

from the following town historical societies: Arcadia, Lyons, Macedon, Ontario, Palmyra, Pultneyville, and Walworth,

and at the Town Clerk's offices in Sodus and Wolcott.

This 250-page, soft-covered, indexed, limited edition contains approximately 500 captioned pictures that reflect the first 150 years of Wayne County's 175-year history and sells for $20. A portion of the profits made from book sales will go to fund future Wayne County Historical Society publications.
