Christmas Market in Lyons The Christmas Market at the historic Grace Episcopal Church, Lyons, has been a local tradition for over 80 years. This year, the market will be held Friday, December 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Parish House, comer of Geneva and Lawrence Streets. Members of the parish began planning in January for the market that will feature crafts, and Christmas ornaments. Table decorations, wreaths and swags fashioned from fresh evergreens will be available to purchase as will home baked cakes, cookies, breads, pies, candy, jams and jellies. The famous Yuletide luncheon offers three types of homemade soups: French Onion, Manhattan Clam Chowder and Minestrone. A choice of ham, tuna or egg salad sandwiches, all freshly made, will be available. Dessert consists of homemade pies. A beverage is also included in the price of the lunch. Each year a raffle is held with the prizes made and donated by members of the parish. For more information, call 315.946.9687 or 315.946.4492. Copyright © 1999 |
