Used clothing drive in Newark A clothing drive is set for Dec. 11 at the Alex Eligh Community Center in Newark. It is sponsored by the Park Presbyterian Church, to benefit Park Place Enriched Housing. Have you cleaned your closets or those dressers lately? We need your unwanted clothes, shoes, belts, purses, sheets, pillowcases, linens, blankets and drapes. (Please, no rags or fabric scraps.) With the help of St. Pauly Textile, your donation will be reused in the U.S. and Third World countries. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the AECC parking lot, at East Avenue. Be there rain or shine.
