Marion Library plans renovations

You may have noticed that work is continuing on the renovation of the Grange.

The Trustees and Staff of the Marion Library are excited about the prospect of being in the new building sometime in early 2000. So many people have been helpful and supportive of this project. Last summer, the children at the Wilson Family Day Care held a carnival to raise money for the piggy banklibrary. These young people presented $31.50 and a card to Library Manager Pam Wolfanger.

We've also received many "Change for Change" contributions in the past few weeks. Anyone interested in saving their change for the library, can call or stop in and pick up a change can. We've received all amounts this year, the most being $86.50 - all in pennies. Thanks to all the families and individuals who have made donations.
