Heritage Society meeting in Lyons

The Lyons Heritage Society will meet on February 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Hotchkiss Building on Water Street.

The group met on January 18. Gary Sawtell was re-elected vice president, Anne Salerno was elected secretary, John Harris is treasurer and Chris Davis is trustee. They passed a resolution to amend the bylaws of the Heritage Society.

The business meeting will be followed by a slide show. Carol Bailey, Lyons Town Historian, will give a program on the building of the Barge (Erie) Canal. The public is invited to Monday's meeting.
