celebration

St. Michael's Church in Newark was the site of the Sunday's Celebration of the Three Kings. (The Epiphany is tomorrow, January 6.)

Singing, eating and playing were the activities, for the largely Hispanic audience.

Carlos Martinez, author of "Camels on a Tin Roof," gave a presentation; a pinata was broken, and the Three Kings gave gifts to the kids.

3kings5.jpg Latin Mix played music and sang for the crowd.

Donating to the party were CompuCopy, Breen's IGA, P&C and Wegmans. Organizers included St. Michael Church and Hispanic Youth Program of Family Counseling Services.
