Sodus Lotto win is for $42,047

Lottery Officials announced Monday that four co-workers won $42,047, from the December 10 Take Five drawing.

Donna Dwello of Wolcott, Beverly Schneeberger of Ontario, Katherine Maylin of Palmyra, and Juanita Snyder of Sodus work at Rochester Industrial Control.

"We were at work when we discovered that we won," said Dwello. "We had to keep it a secret from Bev (one of the prize winners) for the rest of the work day because she gets so excited we were afraid that she would make a mistake at work."

The four friends have been playing Take Five together for a year and a half.

Their winning ticket was a free play ticket, received at Super Duper in Sodus, for matching 2 of 5 numbers in a previous Take Five drawing. The other three winning jackpot tickets were sold in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The Take Five winning numbers were: 7, 18, 21, 27, 29.
