On January 12, Raymond and Mary Anderson celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary and Raymond's 87th birthday at their home. Friends and family visited them. The couple offers "thanks" to each of you who sent gifts and cards.

Feb. 7 will be Blanket Sunday at the United Church. Money will be colleced to purchase blankets for needy people in other countries.

On March 1, the United Church Missions Committee is planning a chicken and biscuit dinner.

JANUARY 29, 1942: Homemaking class will serve a Dumbo Supper to the Board of Education on Thursday evening. Participating will be Marie Furner, Elsie Hermenet, Doris VerPlank, Margaret Brandt, Beatrice Mellema, Irene Ford, Erma Schutt and Jeannette Allart.

Mary Ellen Hickey, St. Gregory's much-loved liturgist, organist emeritus, and respected music teacher, has moved to St. John's Meadows near McQuaid High School. Her address is 2203 John's Arbor Drive West, Apt. 2, Rochester 14620.

Sharon Revard is at her home following a hospital stay.

The Zap-a-Snack Sale begins on Monday, Feb. 1.

Last Thursday, the girls basketall teams both lost to Lyons.

The wrestlers lost a league match to Sodus. Marion winners were Matt Alampi, Zach Freeman, Marion Lumber CompanyJamie Pentland and Dave Schneider.

The boys basketball team defeated Williamson 59-39, led by Justin Hutt and Brian Roegiers.
