Miniature golf tourneys in Williamson New miniature golf courses reflect the same challenges that you encounter in real golf. Reading the greens, staying out of the water, and putting around natural obstacles are all now a part of the game. Almost every weekend professional golf can be seen on television being played for big money. Now eveyone can tune into big prizes right here in Wayne County. Located on Route 104 in Williamson, Eagle Ridge Driving Range and Mini Golf is hosting weekly tournaments for amateur golfers age 12 and up. Each Saturday morning at 10 a.m. in June, July, and August there will be an opportunity for fun, prizes, and more. Two-man teams can call Eagle Ridge at 589-4015 or just show up. Competition starts at 10 a.m. A minimum of 5 teams is required for the weekly tournaments. The cost is $10 per person and includes 18 holes of mini-golf, prizes, refreshments and a chance to qualify to be invited to the first "Eagle Ridge Invitational" at the end of the summer. The first and second place teams each Saturday will be invited back to compete individually in September, at a date to be announced later. This year's grand prize is a 1999 Carter Go Kart from Bob James Equipment in Macedon. This kart features all-terrain tires, 6 HP motor, torque converter, live rear axle, and a 3 point safety harness. The go-kart can be seen on display at Eagle Ridge Driving Range. Copyright
