Festival Saturday in Fairville

Members of the Fairville Presbyterian Church have made plans for the Fairville Community Festival.

The event, for the whole family, will be held Sat., June 19 at the Fairville Fire Department Fairgrounds on Route 88 North (between Newark and Sodus) from 11 to 6.

Buffalo's country Christian band, God's Country, will perform two sets. There will also be live music with the duo of Hymn and Her and local guest choirs.

Skits will be performed between musical numbers. A display of the church's history will be presented in the fire hall by church historian, Dorothy Catlin. There will also be a clown, games, activities and balloons.

Booths will be setup for arts and crafts, food, and a bake sale, sponsored by the Presbyterian Women's group.

A homemade afghan and quilted apron will be raffled. (Must be present to win.)

Ample parking and restroom facilities available. The event will be held rain or shine. Admission is free, however donations will be accepted.

This project is being sponsored by the Fairville Presbyterian Church and in part, with public funds, administered locally by Wayne County Council for the Arts.

Call Joyce DeRue at (315) 331-3336 with questions.
