Bubble Bash in Williamson

The Williamson Public Library will hold a Big Bubble Bash on Wednesday, June 30 at 1 p.m. when Doug Rougeux, The Bubble Man brings his Bubble Mania program to town.

Rougeux is a graduate of Ringling Brothers & Barnum and Bailey's Clown College. He appeared in two CBS television specials as well as two Ringling videos, including The Greatest Clown Acts of All Time.

By combining clowning and soap bubble artistry, he presents fantastic and intricate bubble sculptures which can include an ice cream cone, a spaceship, bubble tubes, and even a giant bubble four to five feet in diameter!

The science of bubble-ology is a fascinating one, especially when presented with slapstic comedy and light-hearted joy. Families who join Doug Rougeux at the Williamson Public Library for are in for an afternoon just bubbling over with fun.
