Arcadia Historical Society to meet

The Arcadia Historical Society will meet Monday, March 22, at 7:30 p.m., at the Newark Masonic Temple (210 East Ave., Newark).

The meeting was originally scheduled on March 4 but was postponed due to the Blizzard of '99.

Speakers will include Gil Burgess, Newark Masonic Historian, presenting the story of the Newark Masons; Robert Hoeltzel, Arcadia Town Historian, giving a short talk on the building currently used by the Masons, and George McFaul, who will highlight the celebration of the 175th Anniversary of the Newark Masons (1824-1999).

All are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be provided by the Newark Masons. For info, please call 331-4078.
