Conservatives dine in Newark

Area Conservative Party members and supporters gathered at the Newark American Legion Home last Thursday for the eighth annual fundraising dinner.

Keynote Speaker for the event was Bob Lonsberry, Rochester radio talk show host and author. Also in attendance was New York State Conservative Party Chairman, Michael R. Long.

Master of Ceremonies was Wayne County Sheriff Richard Pisciotti. He introduced honored guests, and presented the coveted Bush Award. The Bush award is given in the name of Marie and Sanford Bush and honors the person chosen for outstanding contributions to the Conservative Party or service to the local community.

This year's Bush Award was presented to Lou Ann Montemorano of Clyde, for her efforts on behalf of the Conservative Party and it's programs.
