Science Fair at St. Michael's

St. Michael School recently held their annual Science Fair. Grades 5 and 7 were judged by Dr. James Maressa, Mona Rynearson, Dr. Steve Mooney, John Venoski, Mr. and Mrs. Kords, Sharon Bassage, Paul Dewa, James Herbert, Dr. Randall Mitchell, Richard Booth, Kathy Pray and Ruby Jonathon DiamondToner. Co-chairs were St. Michael School teachers Nancy Freeman from Williamson and Larry Owens from Marion.

Fifth Grade FIRST PLACE winners were: Matthew Johnson, Kristen Williams, Leslie Mitchell, Conor Healy, Amy Jobe, Jonathon Diamond (pictured), Jill Harris and Evan Baran. Second place winners were: Patrick Velth, Drew Christianson, Emily Kiley, Elizabeth Knapp, Matt Colacino, Hannah Steensma, Brandon Stirpe, Shelly Graham, Elizabeth Clulla, Mitch DeMeyer, Jackie lati and Michael Voight.

Third place winners were: Johnathon Denniston, Leigh Ann Henry, Maggie Burgess, Andy Staples, Katie Litts and Nick Burgess.

Seventh grade FIRST PLACE winners were: Nick Hollon, Joel Barry, Drew Macaluso, Courtney Dean, Andrew Baran, Amanda Lee, Billy Healy, Kelsey Sapp and Megan Hedges.

Second place winners were: Norman Pulsifer, Joe Diamond, Angela Hoad, Kevin Breen, Darrin Barry and Taylor Farrand-Cox.

Third place winners were: Erin Zapppia, Thereze Seoud, Matthew Frey, Marcy Mason, Angela Archunde and Kathleen Gorall.

Students in grade 3 were also required to present a project for the fair as a part of their science grade.

Students in the primary grades presented class or individual projects.
