Volunteer for History Inventory Project

The Wayne County Historical Society will begin inventorying the items in its permanent collection in late May.

Dr. Ann Morton, Museum Curator and Project Coordinator, will create an open work area in the temporary exhibit gallery where the volunteers will work to catalogue, assess and re-house the Society's collection. This "fish-bowl" approach will allow Museum visitors to view the work-in-process and gain an understanding of collections inventorying, cataloguing and collections care. Volunteers for this project are needed.
