Myers Twig installs new officers

The Myers Twig Association installed new officers at its annual meeting, which was held recently at the Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club in Sodus Point.

The newly-installed officers are Shirley MacDonald of Sodus Point, president; Yvonne Hartley of Wolcott, second vice president; Linda Mandery of North Rose, secretary; Susan Harrison of North Rose, treasurer; Betty Crocker of Sodus, project chair; and Doris Cole of Williamson, volunteer services.

The Myers Twig Association consists of over 200 members who volunteer at Myers, conduct fundraising activities, and many other projects. The Myers Twig was recently honored for the seventh consecutive year with the Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) Advocacy Award. This award was presented to the Twig Association because of their many activities including the We Have A Little Emergency (WHALE) child car seat identification program and the Child Health Plus (CHP) program for uninsured children.
