Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County, will be accepting applications until December 31 for families wishing to own a two-story, three-bedroom home in the Village of Clyde. Eligible families must have lived in Wayne County for at least six months, earn between $19,000 and $27,000 (depending upon family size), be in need of decent, affordable shelter, and be willing to volunteer 400 hours of sweat equity building homes.

The family has decided to relocate out of Wayne County and wants the home in Clyde be sold to another Habitat family.

Humanity is an ecumenical Christian ministry which builds homes with low-income families. Habitat for Humanity receives no government funds for building. Instead, Habitat depends upon donations from individuals, churches, businesses and organizations to buy building materials.

Once in their home, homeowners pay a no-interest mortgage which covers building costs. The mortgage payment is used to build more houses in Wayne County. Call for info 315.986.9915 or visit the website.
