Marion High School students, faculty and staff dressed and participated in SPIRIT WEEK. Monday was P.J. Day, Tuesday Clash Day, Wednesday Dress alike Hawaiian day, Thursday Switch day, and Friday Orange and Black Day.

DON'T FORGET!! The Haunted Heyrides on Fridays and Saturdays, Armington Road in Palmyra with proceeds going to the Finger Lakes Community Cancer Center.

Door Prize Certificate Winners at the Wee Town USA open house were: Janet Malone of Ontario, Nancy Inguaggiato of Walworth and Paul Drake of Marion.

Mark Your Calendar- 'Get Out To Vote' Sauerkraut Dinner held on November 2 at the Marion Elementary School. Proceeds go to the Dr. Bovet Scholarship Fund.

Bill and Barb DeWandel have returned from a scenic trip through the State of Virginia, including the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Skyline Drive. They also spent time with Bill's brother, Ed and Carol DeWandel, reminiscing and touring in the area.

There is a cruise being planned through the canals, rivers and lakes of the Netherlands for April of 2000. See the Springtime flowers, picturesque rivers, towns and villages, almost too quaint and pretty to be real. After arriving in Amsterdam and touring, you will head south through the Zeeland area. OCTOBER 18, 1913: The skating rink was opened for the winter on Saturday evening.

The family style Roast Beef Dinner at the Marion American Legion Home on Witherden Road is tonight, Friday, October 15.

How come if soccer is called a team sport - the whole team doesn't get to play?

Gerry Ellsworth of Albany, accompanied by his mother Eunice, spent a long weekend hiking and enjoying fabulous food while staying at the Red Country Inn, near Watkins Glen. They loved the gorgeous Fall color around the area.

On October 19, a 'Dutch Treat' luncheon will be held at the Dutchess Restaurant, in Penfield, for women of the United Church, at 12:30 p.m. Following the luncheon they will travel to the Fairport Baptist homes to meet with Rev. Garth Brokow, President of the FBH, who will give a guided tour.
