Newark kids have tea with principal

Tea With The Principal at Perkins School is a celebration of Good Citizenship. Children are chosen by the classroom teachers, and tea time is planned during the last week of each month.

Children and Principal Kathleen Houser enjoyed tea, cider or hot chocolate, cookies or cake. They talked about manners, respect and quiet voices.

The kindergartners honored Tuesday were Megan Wandersee, Jeffrey Timmerman, Mason Leone, Jasmine Streeter, Andrew Rands, Aylison Richardson, Lisa Macri.
