Newark Colts off to great start

The Newark Colts Football Teams began their season August 29 against Clyde.

The three teams that make up the youth football league, ended their Clyde games as follows:

A Team 44 - Clyde 6

B Team 27 - Clyde 14

C Team 0 - Clyde 23

On September 5, the Colts took on Geneva:

A Team 37 - Geneva 14

B Team 6 - Geneva 31

C Team 12 - Geneva 14

Last Sunday, Sept. 12, it was Newark against Midlakes:

A Team 24 - Midlakes 0

B Team 6 - Midlakes 13

C Team 0 - Midlakes 15

Note that the Colts A Team has scored a whopping 107 points in the first three games.

The next three match-ups are at home in Colburn Park:

Sunday, Sept. 19 against Lyons;

Sunday, Sept. 26 against Waterloo, and

on October 2, Saturday night games against Red Jacket - The C Team at 4 p.m., B Team at 6 p.m. and A Team at 8.
