Lyons church hosts for Wolcott

On Tuesday, September 28, the First Presbyterian Church of Lyons will be hosting the meeting of the Presbytery of Geneva. The Presbytery is made up of sixty one churches in and about the Fingerlakes area. Lyons Presbyterian is hosting on behalf of the Wolcott Presbyterian Church. The Wolcott church sustained serious damage in a recent fire. The Rev. Laurena Wickham, pastor of Wolcott and Huron Presbyterian Churches will lead the Presbytery's worship service and the choir and organist from Wolcott will provide musical leadership for the service. The Rev. Cynthia Huling Hummel, of Lyons Presbyterian is the hosting pastor.
