The Wayne County Fair kicked off Monday in Palmyra
and continues through Saturday. If you head over Friday,
it's Senior Citizens' Day - you can catch the Fingerlakes
Rhythm Cloggers at 3 and 5 p.m., the Watermelon-eating
contest at 4, the parade at 7, and country music at 8
p.m., with Wes Earl and Aces High.
The
Kiddie Parade is Saturday morning at 10. The Veterans'
Ceremony begins at 11:30 a.m.; and the grange chicken
barbecue is at noon. Rides open at 1 p.m., there's
children's music at 2 and 4 p.m., square dancing and a
demolition derby at 7, and modern rock music at 8, with
