See you at the County Fair

The Wayne County Fair kicked off Monday in Palmyra and continues through Saturday. If you head over Friday, it's Senior Citizens' Day - you can catch the Fingerlakes Rhythm Cloggers at 3 and 5 p.m., the Watermelon-eating contest at 4, the parade at 7, and country music at 8 p.m., with Wes Earl and Aces High.

The Kiddie Parade is Saturday morning at 10. The Veterans' Ceremony begins at 11:30 a.m.; and the grange chicken barbecue is at noon. Rides open at 1 p.m., there's children's music at 2 and 4 p.m., square dancing and a demolition derby at 7, and modern rock music at 8, with Melvin Potter's Bash. (Photos by John Zornow)
