Students take ultimate field trip Marion Earth Shuttle members recently took the Ultimate Field Trip.
Students started their trip with dinner at a Hard Rock Cafe. The next day, they were up bright and early, to take a boat launch to Discovery Island - an 11-acre island sanctuary where students are able to see over 120 species of birds, mammals, and reptiles in their natural habitats. From Discovery Island, students took the monorail to Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. After checking out attractions like Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Space Mountain, the day ended with a viewing of the parade and fireworks. The third day was spent at Epcot, checking out the Ideas and Technology program. This day culminated with a viewing of the IlluminNations laser light show. The last day was spent at Busch Gardens, starting with a hands-on presentation of protected species and ending with roller coaster rides. top of
