Beth Palmer and Martine Derks were at the tree-lighting
event last Friday and saw Santa Claus arrive. Martine is from the Netherlands and is
staying with the Eggerts/Palmers. Vocal and instrumental music was provided by students
from Newark High School. Refreshments and other services were donated by Wegmans, Bells,
P&C, Wal-Mart, McDonald's, the fire department, Village of Newark, and Norm Waterman.
