Kindergarten kids raised $37

These kindergarteners in Mrs. Austin's Class at Perkins Elementary School held a bake sale on Dec. 16. The proceeds were given to Toys for Tots.

The children made signs, helped with baking, and they sold the treats. Later they went to Ames and bought toys. The sale made $37. Sue Austin is assisted in the classroom by Nancy VanOoyen.

The two selling "Everything 25¢" are Lindsey Paluck and Matt Plain.

Making a sale to music teacher Mrs. DeMarsh is Chris Timmerman.
