The Arcadia Historical Society will celebrate its 5th Anniversary with a special dinner and program, Wednesday, March 5 at Burnham's Canalside at the Newark Quality Inn. Social hour begins at 6, with dinner served at 7.

A program will follow the dinner, to be given by historian Don Schilling, of Penfield, who will give a talk entitled "Time Capsule." Buffet dinner reservations are being accepted on or before Feb. 24, at the price of $10 for members of the Arcadia Historical Society. Non-members are welcome to attend, at $12.70 per person. Please send your check, payable to Historical Society, to: Arcadia Historical Society, P.O. Box 289, Newark 14513.

The Arcadia Historical Society was founded in March 1992. There are more than 90 memberships, in single, couple and family levels. The society owns the Marbletown Schoolhouse, which is an ongoing project. Meetings are held quarterly, with meeting places announced in a newsletter.
