Library selling replicas The Trustees of the Newark Public Library have decided to sell wooden replicas of the library building, produced by R.R. Creations. The Community Center and Park Presbyterian Church are also selling wooden cutouts of their buildings. Each of these unique collectibles can be identified by an open window somewhere in the building. The number of libraries produced is limited and you can purchase one at the Newark Library on High Street for sixteen dollars. These painted wooden replicas have a brief history of the library printed on the reverse side. Those interested in the entire Newark collection would cherish owning the Library, the Community Center, the Post Office and the Park Presbyterian Church. The Library Trustees hope that this latest effort will generate financial support for the library's general operating budget. Copyright © 1996 |
