A birthday at the WC Nursing Home

Donald Clark of the Wayne County Nursing Home, formerly of Marion, was recently guest of honor at a party celebrating his 65th birthday. The party was given by his niece, Jackie (Cal) Spinner, and their children Katie and Derek and was held in the West wing lounge of the nursing home.

Those attending were his brothers Mr. (and Mrs.) Howard Clark of Walworth, Leonard Clark, also of Walworth & friend Jean Mitchell; his sisters Barbara (Gerald) Brown of Marion, and Judith (Eugene) Taillie of Ontario.

Also attending were several of Donald's nieces and nephews and their families: Mr. and Mrs. David Brown, Mrs. Stephen Brown, Cassie and Simon Brown, Kevin Taille, and Mr. and Mrs. Scott Weimer.

Everyone enjoyed an afternoon of visiting and reminiscing with Donald and later enjoyed cake and ice cream. Donald's cake, made by his niece, Jackie Spinner, was decorated to depict a farmer's field, complete with a hay wagon made of cake and various farm animals made of icing.
