Happenings
Gwen and Clarence Bushart of Joy Road entertained Carmen and Beverly Gillette of Lima, and Rich and Betty York of Livonia. They met on a February trip to northern California and have remained friends. The last Legion baseball home game will be played at the high school on July 25 at 6 p.m. Kevin and Kim Bushart and daughters of Melrose, New Mexico surprised his mother at her birthday party, held at the home of Tom and Kristen Means. The July 5 surprise visit had been planned since February. Also present at the party were Karen and Geoff Hayden, Warren and Barb Bushart and daughter Erin, Dave and Karen Marsh of Churchville, Jeremy and Jessica Leno of Medina, who brought 100-year-old Kenneth Blackmer, Carmen and Beth Bushart and son Mark, also Ruth Townson and children Sarah and Edward of Clyde, and Peg Pembroke of Marion. Remember...the August 12 Beck's Grove trip. Join us on the air conditioned coach for a day of shopping, eating and a wonderful afternoon program - a Christian musical featuring all kinds of Christian music. Call Isabelle Bushart by August 1 for reservations (926-7764).
