Library plans Book/Craft Sale

The Friends of the Marion Public Library will hold their Heritage Days Book sale on Saturday, August 23, at the Grange Hall, the site of the future library in Marion. The Friends have decided to add a craft sale to the already popular book sale. Anyone wishing to donate a craft to the sale can do so by bringing it to the library, or bringing it to the sale on August 23.

Heritage Days will also mark the kick-off date of the Friends Fund-raiser, Change for Change. This fundraiser will help defray the costs of moving to the new library location. Anyone having 13 oz. coffee cans to donate, can call the the library or just drop them off. The cans will be painted and given to interested parties to save change to donate the library.
