Sunday (June 1) found a dozen Rose Committee members preparing
large planters for this year's display of Roses on the East
Avenue bridge. One hundred rose bushes have been planted in this
120-foot-long display. Pictured are Keith Rachunok and Lou Leone
of the Rose Committee, with friends from Karlsruhe, Germany -
Franke Neidemeyer and Stefan Hess who, helped lower the boxes
into place. Rose Day is Sunday, June 8.
