Strawberry Social in Marbletown

The Arcadia Historical Society's 3rd Annual old-fashioned Strawberry Social is set for Saturday, June 14, from 1-5 p.m., on the shaded lawn of the Marbletown Schoolhouse on Miller Rd. The rain date will be Sun., June 15.

Shortcake with vanilla ice cream will be served, along with cold beverages. Foods were donated by Wegmans, Breen's Bells' and BeeTee's Drive In. All proceeds benefit projects of the Arcadia Historical Society.

The 1876 Marbletown Schoolhouse will be open for viewing. Original furnishings, together with Newark artifacts, will be on display. The Marbletown Schoolhouse is an ongoing project of the A.H.S.

The winning ticket will be drawn for the raffle of a blue-decorated Lyons stoneware jug.
