EPCS highlights Judy Rachow
Mrs. Rachow graduated from Green Bay East High School and attended several US Navy electronics schools. She graduated from Summit Christian College in Fort Wayne, which has merged with Taylor University to become Taylor Fort Wayne and is currently taking courses at SUNY Brockport with the goal of completing her Masters in Elementary Education program. Judy was born and raised in Green Bay, WI, where her mother, LaVonne Pagel, brothers and sister and their families still live. Her father died in 1990. She currently lives in Marion with husband, Wayne. "What makes Christian Schools such as EPCS unique is their commitment to a Christ-centered world view. This means that all subjects, from math, to literature, to physical education, are taught with the goal of preparing the students to recognize God's design in their lives and to enable them to become effective servants of God." "From my first day at EPCS, my overwhelming impression has been one of community. Parents get involved in the operation of the school. Whenever drivers are needed for a field trip, or helpers for a project, parents are quick to volunteer. Another example of community is the involvement of grandparents and other friends, some of whom have no children in the school, but support the goals of Christian education. I greatly appreciate the reality that I as a teacher am not laboring alone, but have other teachers and staff members, parents, and community members praying for and supporting me." top of page Copyright © 1997 |
