Giant Pumpkin contest planned

The Newark Farmers Market will hold the 2nd Annual largest pumpkin grown in Wayne County Contest, Thursday, October 30, at the Cooperative Extension Office, 1581 Rt. 88N, Newark.

If you think you have a winner, contact Cooperative Extension and be prepared to exhibit it during the market. Prizes for the largest pumpkin will be awarded at 4 p.m. For more information and to register call (315) 331-8415 and ask for Alice or Peg.
