On Tuesday, November 4 the Marion Junior High Band, Junior Choir, Show Choir and Wind Ensemble will present the Fall Concert Part I at 7:30 p.m. On Thursday, November 6 the Senior High Concert Band, Senior High Choir and Jazz Ensemble will present the Fall Concert, Part II, at 7:30 p.m. Both concerts are in the high school auditorium.

Harold and Dorothy Ocque have returned from a "wonderful" bus trip to Branson, Missouri. They loved it!

Remember the ham supper at the First Reformed Church on Monday, October 27. Servings are from 5 to 7 p.m., take-outs are available.

Congratulation! to Rev. Stuart Mitchell, who was the guest of honor at a reception at the Hyatt Regency Hotel commemorating 30 years of service with Rural Opportunities.

The Afternoon Circle at the United Church, met at the home of Ruth Haskins on October 21.

Home for the Holidays, the annual bazaar at the United Church is scheduled for November 8 with Barb Ruple as coordinator.

Rog and Gen Adriaansen attended a meet of Train Collectors Association in York, PA last weekend. They were accompanied on their expedition by friend, Herb Kennett from Bradenton, Florida.

Josh Davis, son of Mike and Amy Davis has a broken collar bone.

Julie Wise presented the special music at the October 19 worship service at the Second Reformed Church.

Diane Van Lare, of the Leaning Barn, will be holding her annual Open House on November 7, 8, and 9.

Rev. Dana Martin was the Guest Minister at the United Church on October 19.

Family Night Roller Skating Party, sponsored by the Marion PTA will be held today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Saturday, October 25 at Marion Museum (10 until noon) is Let It Rain - a display on Noah's Ark.

The 1998 Heritage Festival will take place on August 29 and 30.The schedule of events will be: 3rd Annual Marion Mile, crafts/food/entertainment all day Saturday, street dance Sat. evening, Main Street Parade Sunday at 1 p.m.Please call Robin Boerman 926-4356 with any comments or suggestions. If you are interested in joining the Festival Committee by all means come to the next meeting December 4.

Several local graduates from the Marion Central School Class of '44 enjoyed dinner and a social evening at Emile's Restaurant in Geneva. Those attending from Marion were Beatrice Schultz, Lloyd and Arlene Van Haneghem, Bob and Clara De Nearing, Vic Mason and Bob and Erma Clark. Others attending were Irene Kilaeysen, Elizabeth DeWitt and Bill and Elsie Weaver.

Celebrate Fall on the Farm at the Walworth Historical Society Museum, Sunday, November 2, from 2-5 p.m.

Meet your neighbors and enjoy a piece of apple pie a cup of coffee. See displays of antique tractors, farm kitchen activities, and miniature farm implements. Press a cup of sweet cider and relive the past in an afternoon.
