Mystery dinner at Marion Church

For those who enjoy a good mystery, back by popular demand is an encore performance of "Bullets & Barbecue" - a Mystery Dinner Theater Presentation by The United Church of Marion Players.

On Saturday, November 15 at 6 p.m., a complete dinner will be served at the United Church of Marion dining hall (a.k.a. Jake's Saloon) as the mystery of who killed good sheriff Dan Liars unfolds in the Town of Winchester.

Could it be Bib Gunn, who works at Jake's Saloon? Or possibly Juan Bandito, a Mexican Cowboy? Then there is Old Doc Mallard, and you can never tell about maiden school marm, Miss Patience.

Rowdy Draw, the resident professional gambler, seems to look suspicious. Sally Forth, the Sheriff's intended bride, is pretty distraught about the whole situation.

You'll play an active part in the "solving" of this mystery with the help of Annie Oakleaf, who seems to know everyone pretty well, and Barney Pfyfe Nestor.

The $10/person tickets can be purchased from the office of the United Church of Marion at 3848 North Main Street, Marion, Monday-Friday from 8:30-noon. Tickets may also be reserved by calling the church office at 926-5501.

PRE-SALE only - none will be available at the door. There is limited seating.
