Clyde Chamber plans for Christmas

Angels on the Erie, Catch the Spirit is the Clyde Chamber Christmas Theme for 1997.

The Clyde Chamber of Commerce Downtown Decorating Committee is pleased to announce the new holiday decoration promotion sales have been completed. The 24 angels all have "Sponsors" for one year. Donor's plaques will be displayed on the lamp post assigned with the donor's name and choice of "In Honor of" or "In Memory of" for the person they care to designate.

Participants ranged from Private Residents, Chamber Members, Organizations, Church Groups, Clyde-Savannah Students and Merchants. The support for this project has been overwhelming.

The Chamber hopes to purchase more Christmas Angels next year as an ongoing project. The Angel Program is a joint venture between the Village of Clyde and Town of Galen, with the revitalized Chamber of Commerce leading the way.
