Twigs plan 40th Annual Bazaar

The holidays are fast approaching and so is the 40th Annual Twig Association's Holiday Bazaar. The bazaar will be held on Saturday, November 15, 1997 from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Sodus High School.

The theme of this year's bazaar is "Treasures and Traditions." Traditions that will return at this year's bazaar include: the Twig booths, overflowing with unique hand made crafts and holiday decorations; the Holiday Market which has "new to you" items; a baked food sale; the holiday drawing; and the Pocket Lady for the children. New this year, there will be a Christmas plant sale by the Ontario Garden Club and a used book sale. Lunch will be available and other refreshments will be served throughout the day.

This year the holiday drawing includes an array of prizes including: a Marriott overnight getaway for two; $250 mall gift certificate; several dinner gift certificates; greens tickets to Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club, a cheese basket from Heluva Good Cheese and more. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5 and can be purchased from any Myers Twig Association member.

The annual holiday bazaar is the Twig Association's primary fundraising event. Proceeds benefit the programs and services of Myers Community Hospital. The Myers-Twig Association has more than 200 members who raise funds for and volunteer at the hospital.
