Methodists plan family supper

The September meeting of the United Methodist Friends for Fellowship will be a family night supper at the Lyons church on Tuesday, September 23, starting at 6:30 p.m.

Each family should bring a dish to pass and their own table service. The program will be an evening of Square Dancing with Mutt Fisher calling and the folk group providing the music.

The October meeting of the United Methodist Friends for Fellowship will be their Harvest Auction to be held at the home of Robert and Kathleen Tyler, 708 East Avenue, Newark, on Tues., October 28, at 7:30 p.m.

Members of the congregation are invited to join in the fun and fellowship as they gather to raise money for special projects. Those attending are asked to bring items to be auctioned off such as produce, baked goods, craft items, plants, etc.
