OES Chapter will meet

Summer recess will end on Wednesday, September 17, when Richards Chapter members meet at the Marion Masonic Temple at 6:30 p.m. for a potluck supper. June Young, Mina Pembroke, Ruth Haskins and Bea Schultz will serve on the committee.

At 8 p.m., members will meet in the Chapter Room for the first regular meeting of the Fall season. Worthy Matron Berenice Sewert will honor Past Matrons and Past Patrons.

Members have been busy during the summer recess. They held a garage sale in June; enjoyed an Officers Club picnic at Canandaigua Lake, and attended Pilgrimage Day at the Eastern Star Home in Oriskany in July. In August they helped the Masons in their refreshment booth at the Antique Car Show and served up reuzel bollen and coffee on Heritage Day.
