Wendy's coming to Newark

Newark residents have been talking about Wendy's buying the Pro-May Mall for over a year. Then the bulldozers moved in, and recently, the familiar Wendy's sign. The tentative opening date is the second week in November. The 2800 sq.ft. eatery on West Union Street will seat 88 people. It is the first Wendy's in this county. (D. Comella/Courier-Gazette photo)
