Haunted Hayrides help Cancer Society

The Wayne County Unit of the American Cancer Society is planning Haunted Hayrides on October 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26. Friday nights 7:30, Saturday and Sundays at 7:00. They are located at Melvin VanHaneghan's Farm, located on Armington Road, Town of Palmyra.

Get ready for a screaming, fun-filled ride in safe high-sided wagons. You'll find new scenes, new paths and a new Haunted Barn.

At the end of the trip through the woods, those of you that are still able to speak will receive a treat of cider, popcorn and apples, which have all been donated by businesses in Wayne County for this event. You may then be scared even more by venturing through the Haunted Barn.

Proceeds for this October event will go towards education and patient services in Wayne County. Many volunteers are still needed. Please call 331-6480 if you can help.

Donation is $6 per person.
